Employment Development Unit

All of Hong Kong ex-offenders or individuals or individuals undergoing judicial proceedings with employment need, eligible employee of Hong Kong aged 15 or above. 

This is a territory-wide program available to eligible service users across all districts in Hong Kong.

EDU and EEU provides case follow-up and referral services for ex-offenders to assist them with job search.

Referral form

The programme provides skills training, personal attributes training, individual counseling and post-release employment counseling and follow-up service for prisoners soon to be discharged.

Service users took part in the Foundation Certificate in Plumber Training for Interior Renovation (Intermediate Trade Test).

The centre provides temporary job placements in a workshop setting for ex-offenders and the unemployed.

ERB offers a diverse range of job skills training courses, as well as provides employment counseling for all eligible people aged 15 or above. Moreover, ERB will provide tailor-made programmes and job referral service for participating employers.

Service Application:
Can be Self-application or referrals can be made through staff of our organization, other agencies or government departments.

Service Withdrawal:
1. Service users may terminate service voluntarily.
2. Service users refuse to receive service.
3. Service users lost contact or were unable to receive service due to different reasons over one month.
