Supported Employment Training for Persons with Disabilities (SET)

• To enhance the employability of persons with disabilities through vocational training
• To provide incentives to encourage employers to offer jobs to persons with disabilities to try out their working capabilities

• Persons with disabilities, aged 15 or above, are capable of self-care, and
• Persons with disabilities are unable to adjust to the open job market in the absence of employment support.

Free of charge

Service users could obtain the service through self-approach, or through referral made by any service unit, Social Welfare Department or other agencies. The service is provided on a voluntary basis. Service users could apply for termination of service. On the other hand, the staff could also terminate the service upon professional judgment and mutual agreement made with the service users.
